Oki Europe Announces New Managing Director
Oki Europe's new managing director will be Harry Takahashi, who will lead the company through its next phase of development following Terry Laidlaw's retirement.
Mr Takahashi, who will take over following Mr Laidlaw's 22-year reign, has been at Oki since 1982.
He has held a selection of roles within the company, both in Japan and Europe, and recently became deputy managing director of the company's European operations.
"With a comprehensive product and managed print services/document solutions portfolio now in place, I am looking forward to meeting the challenges of our core SMB customer base and, increasingly, the very different needs of larger enterprise businesses," he stated.
Mr Takahashi paid tribute to his predecessor's work, noting that Mr Laidlaw played a central role in building the company.
He will be hoping to see the company build on its portfolio, which includes the award-winning MB451w Monochrome MFP.
The system was handed the Pick accolade from Buyers Laboratory.
