HP Launches Manufacturing Plant In Israel
HP has launched a new manufacturing plant in Israel, where it will develop a number of different ink cartridges.
The premises will measure 11,000 square metres, with the company deciding to introduce facilities to the country in an effort to accommodate its recent strong growth following a change from analogue to digital printing.
It is the first industrial building to be constructed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards.
HP has developed a strong presence across the world, with the Indian Express recently reporting that the company's Hotspot LaserJet Pro M1218nfs MFP has been unveiled in the country. It is designed specifically for start-ups and micro businesses.
Alon Bar-Shany, vice president and general manager of HP's Indigo division, said: "With an additional plant supplying ink for the rapid ramp-up of our new family of Indigo presses, we can support our customers in growing their businesses and increasing their profitability in the highly competitive printing market."
